*** We guarantee that all hedgehogs we sell are healthy for up to 15 days from date of pick-up, delivery, or shipment against all pre-existing health problems that were present before the hedgehog left our place..       *** We recommend that all new owners take their new hedgehog to a licensed veterinarian who regularly treats hedgehogs for a full health evaluation within 7 days of purchase.    

- Should your hedgehog develop an illness or other health problem within the first 15 days of purchase, Good Natured Hedgehogs will replace the hedgehog with another hedgehog that is available for sale within 6 months. - If hedgehog were sold by discounted price customer will receive there money back or a hedgehog of same value.

- The unhealthy hedgehog must be returned  within 15 days (at buyer's expense) and also must be seen by a licensed veterinarian (who regularly treats hedgehogs) within that time or the health guarantee will be void.

- A written report from the veterinarian who examined the hedgehog, must accompany any returned hedgehog. The written report must state the nature of the illness/disease/or other health problem and that it was pre-existing at the time of purchase.

 

(This health guarantee is NOT transferable, it only applies to the original owner that we sold the hedgehog to.) (Please Note: Shipping & Delivery Costs are non-refundable )     

 *This guarantee does not applies to a hedgehog that is not healthy or is injured for reasons that were the buyer's fault, such as, but not limited to:  poor diet, drafty/cold living conditions, harm caused by the accident in owner's possession, or by the owner's other pets,  shipping that is paid / arranged by the owner /  other shipping companies or was not provided by Good Natured Hedgehogs.    

 congenital defect guarantee-one year from birth date.

*** Good Natured Hedgehogs, also, guarantees that, to the best of their knowledge, all hedgehogs bred from our breeding herd are free of any congenital defects for up to one year from their birth. Including  Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome or WHS. With a necropsy report (at owner's expense) providing positive results for a genetic defect.     -     If a hedgehog that came from our breeding herd dies from a congenital defect within one year

after his / her birth, we will replace the hedgehog with another hedgehog that is available  within 6 months. If a hedgehog were sold by discounted price, customer will receive their money back or a hedgehog of same value.   

 

-   Proof of the congenital defect is required in a written document from a licensed veterinarian who regularly treats hedgehogs.   

  *** Guarantee  is extended to a one more year of LIFE of a hedgehog that was purchased for more than $400 US dollars and was produced by Good Natured Hedgehogs.

-   If the health problem  found to be a birth defect, including  Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome or WHS with a necropsy report (at owner's expense). .  Proof of the congenital defect is required in a written document from a licensed veterinarian who regularly treats hedgehogs.

 

Please, note: GUARANTEE is for original owner that we sold the hedgehog to.

 

The guarantee does not cover death caused by abuse, neglect, cancer, etc…

* We cannot guarantee the color of any hedgehog under 6 months, because of some can change their quills color after quilling.

* It is responsibility of the owner to get information about care for a hedgehog properly.
